Apple's year-and-half old iPhone 6s was the best-selling smartphone globally last year, beating newer rivals such as Samsung's Galaxy S7 models, according to new research by financial services company IHS Markit. According to a press release on IHS' website on Wednesday, the new iPhone 7 was the best-seller in the fourth quarter alone, followed by iPhone 7 Plus. Samsung has made a habit out of releasing its flagship smartphones in various color variants, and things will be no different with the Galaxy S8. From what we've seen thus far, we are expecting the Galaxy S8 series to have four to six color versions, and one of them should be gold. First spotted about a week ago in a couple of low-res hands-on photos , the gold Galaxy S8 can now be seen again, this time in a high-resolution render.
